    Back at it guys! Good gosh, I hate being sick! Throws off my workouts, blogging, work, just don't feel like myself! BUT good news is I'm back. Got a killer arm workout in again with my main man Cody, felt like I hadn't missed a day! I hope you all are staying away from all the sickness flying around, or at least fighting it off fast! I tell everyone this but I swear on the Zicam/Zinc tablets! If any of you feel a scratch in your throat or a cold coming on start dissolving one every few hours! Thank me later :)

      What's up friends?! I'm gonna try and post several times this weekend, since it is my weekend off!! Ohhh man way too stoked to say that! Supposed to be nice weather again so maybe some hiking adventures! Its February I don't know how it still feels so nice during the day! Then it freezes us at night, cool. So I'm gonna introduce you to tripod, he gets credit for these photos. He's not nearly as good or pretty as Alyssa but he tries, so enjoy!

Arm Day!

     Arms anyone?? Here is a quick all over routine for a fan favorite, Arm day! This routine is meant to be about 40 minutes, which is pretty intense, feel free to drop weight to finish or take a minute break in between! Only YOU know if you're working hard, don't cheat yourself! 

Decided to stay home and take on The Beast! This routine can be done with dumbbells or at the gym so NO EXCUSE!

Standing Curls-Progressive set: 12, 10, 8, -30sec break- 8, 10, 12

Tricep Extension w/ Dropset: 15, 12, 8 (heavy), 8 (light)

Wide Grip Curls HEAVY WEIGHT: 5, 5, 5, 5, 5

Skull Crushers w/ Dropset: 15, 12, 8 (heavy), 8 (light)

Concentration Hammer Curls ( 1 arm at a time): 12, 10, 8 -Switch arms- 12, 10, 8 -Reverse- 8, 10, 12

Tricep Kickback: 12, 10, 8, -Switch Arms- 12, 10, 8  -Reverse- 8, 10, 12

Alright guys make sure to keep the burn! Progressive sets and drop sets are 10 sec breaks at the most, meant to get a fast burn! Find weights you can handle and push yourself! The weights will get heavier in no time, trust me :) Til next time, Peace!

Chest Day!

    Hey friends! Just gave Maui a bath and it's time to post this workout! Im gonna try and post as many workouts as I can, maybe not everyday but they are workouts that can be done any day!

I do all of my workouts either at home or here at Anytime Fitness! It's a nice atmosphere, has free weights and is open whenever you can fit in your workout! Alyssa and I have such crazy schedules it makes it really convenient being open 24/7

Today is Chest day, so today that means Dumbbell work!
Dumbbell Press: 3 sets 12reps, 10, reps, 8 reps
Dumbbell Flies: 3 sets 12, 10, 8
Closegrip Dumbbell Press: 5, 5, 5, 5, 5
Incline Dumbbell Press: 12, 10, 8
Decline Dumbbell Press: 12, 10, 8
Slow Pushups: 10, 10, 10
 Fairly quick but effective all over chest routine. It mixes heavy and light weight and I think that is really important! Short breaks and work hard, this will get the burn! Till next time, Peace!

   Yooooo, about time, I know I know! Finally got couple days off, had some more awesome weather in between that I tried to take advantage of! Took Maui out adventuring around the neighborhood and lake, took a shot at some fish with no luck....
